Delete my data
The App has no user accounts and keeps your training data on your device. When it needs our servers (for example for Nash or a bug report) it creates an anonymous ID, so that we can find those records again. You can delete everything linked to that ID.
Option 1: in the App (recommended)
- Open GTO Poker Trainer: Postflop.
- Go to Settings > Data and privacy.
- Tap Delete my data and confirm.
- Keep the App open until it says that your data was deleted. The App first deletes the records on our servers and then, when that has worked, wipes the data on your device and starts afresh. We complete the deletion on our side within 24 hours; what other companies finish later is listed below. If you are offline, the App tells you: try again when you are online, or use Option 2.
Subscriptions are not cancelled by deleting data. Billing continues through Apple or Google until you cancel: cancel on Apple devices or cancel on Google Play. Please cancel first if you do not want to be charged again.
Option 2: by e-mail
If you can no longer open the App, e-mail support@pekasoftware.com with the subject Delete my data and include your Support ID (Settings > Data and privacy > Support ID > Copy). Because there are no accounts, the Support ID is how we find your records and confirm that the request is yours. Users of version 1.x can send the User ID shown on the Profile page instead. We complete valid requests within 30 days.
Option 3: only on your device
Uninstalling the App deletes the data on the device. It does not delete the records linked to your anonymous ID on our servers (for example Nash settings and reports you sent); use Option 1 or 2 for that.
What is deleted
| Data | What happens |
|---|---|
| On your device | Training history, statistics, streaks, rating, settings, cached Nash conversation and scheduled reminders are removed |
| Anonymous ID and the records linked to it: Nash agreement, Nash settings and counters, answer reports (Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore) | Deleted |
| Bug reports, e-mail address and screenshots you sent (Firestore, Cloud Storage) | Deleted |
| GitHub issues created from your bug reports | Deleted. If GitHub does not allow deletion, the issue is blanked and closed |
| Purchase and access record (RevenueCat) | The customer record is deleted |
| Analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase) | We submit a deletion request for your analytics IDs. Google removes the data from reports within about 72 hours and completes deletion in its next deletion cycle (roughly two months). Copies in our analytics warehouse are deleted by us |
| Crash reports (Crashlytics) | Expire automatically after 90 days |
| Nash | Question and answer text stored because you switched on Help improve Nash is deleted. Otherwise we store none. Our AI provider deletes API inputs and outputs within 30 days (longer only if flagged as a usage-policy violation) |
| Data from version 1.x (database records under your RevenueCat ID; AppsFlyer and Meta SDK data) | The database records are deleted with your request. On request we also submit deletion requests to AppsFlyer and Meta |
What may remain
- Apple and Google keep purchase, subscription and refund records for your store account. We cannot delete those; see their privacy policies.
- Accounting records that we are legally required to keep (they contain no training data).
- GitHub edit history: if a bug-report issue had to be blanked instead of deleted, GitHub may keep an edit history that only our repository owner can see. Issues that cannot be matched to your reports are left untouched; they never contain your e-mail address, screenshots or IDs.
- A deletion marker (a one-way hash of the deleted anonymous ID and your Support ID) is kept for 35 days so that delayed requests cannot recreate the data and so that we can confirm the deletion.
- On your device, a counter of today's free hands, a clock check and the cached Pro status are kept. They contain no personal data; they stop deleting data from being used to reset the daily free limit.
- Aggregated or de-identified statistics that can no longer be linked to you.
- Copies in provider caches or encrypted backups until their normal rotation finishes.
Can I undo it?
No. Deletion is permanent. After deletion the App starts fresh; a new anonymous ID is only created if you use a feature that needs our servers again. Pro access is not lost: restore it with Restore purchases using the same Apple ID or Google account.
